ABSTRACT: Exploring the potential of drone technology in vocational training highlights the innovative use of drones to enhance educational experiences and outcomes. This study aimed to assess how drone technology improves vocational training programs, identify the specific skills and competencies developed, and measure student satisfaction with drone-integrated training. A survey design was employed to collect detailed insights from participants using drone technology in their vocational education. The sample size included 180 students from various vocational training programs that incorporated drone technology. Purposive sampling was used to select participants with exposure to drone technology. The case study was conducted at the Kaduna Polytechnic, Kaduna State, Nigeria. Findings revealed that drone technology significantly improved students' technical skills in operating and maintaining drones, enhanced their understanding of aerial surveying and data collection, and provided hands-on learning experiences. Students expressed high levels of satisfaction with the training, appreciating the interactive and practical approach. It was recommended that vocational training institutions expand their drone technology curricula and continuously explore new applications to enhance educational outcomes.
